Nursery Manager

Are you a deputy manager who is already "running the show" or a nursery manager looking for a new challenge? You might be the right fit for this role! We're looking for someone who is passionate, knowledgable and inspiring for both our children and staff.

Deputy Nursery Manager

We're looking for an ambitious deputy nursery manager to join our expanding team! We're searching for someone with a child-centred approach to teaching, who is knowledgeable and passionate about the early years. This role is a great opportunity to work closely with, and learn from the nursery manager, which is particularly important as we expand. Whether you are an experienced teacher, practitioner, educator, deputy, or manager, this role could be a good fit! This role will be based in Northumberland.

Early Years Teacher

At Little Angels children are more important than data and with that in mind we are looking for a passionate, experienced nursery teacher with a passion for the highest quality of care and education for our children, particularly our pre-school children.

You will support and join our current team of passionate early years practitioners working alongside other curriculum leaders to help achieve the best outcomes for our children.

You will be passionate about having an impact and making a difference to the lives of a very diverse profile of children, both from vulnerable and privileged backgrounds. You will love spending time with children and take pride in seeing them achieve. 
Your practice will  inspire the staff team to deliver the best as you will have your own group of key children, modeling your skilled practice daily. This will allow you to see your reach across the setting, impacting on the staff to grow their practice.  No two days are the same and there is always a great deal of variety with the children bringing a smile to your face every day. We have such a valued, varied and vital role in our communities that we shout about on social media and that our parents celebrate with us regularly.

This post is offered with highly subsidised childcare at 80% of the usual costs.

We’re excited to be recruiting ambitious Nursery Practitioners to join our experienced team at our small chain of childcare settings in the north east of England.

As more and more smiley faces return to our settings post Covid, we’re seeing increasing demand for childcare places, and consequently we are excited to be searching for ambitious Nursery Practitioner to join our experienced team at Little Angels!

We have many different opportunities available to suit a variety of pathways. We are keen to play our part in widening access to the childcare sector, and will consider candidates with and without childcare qualifications. The only criteria we ask of applicants is a passion for the care and education of our children.

Successful candidates will be those eager to make an impact on, and difference to, the lives of children, whether from vulnerable or privileged backgrounds. They will love spending time with children and will be able to deliver inspirational learning. Excellent communication is essential to work alongside the existing team to achieve the best outcomes for all children and offer an exceptional service to our families.

 

Increases in demand for childcare places mean we have exciting opportunities in Cramlington, Bedlington and Fenham, and we are seeking a nursery practitioner who can start as soon as possible. Our nurseries are open between 7.00am and 6.30pm, and successful candidates may be required to attend staff meetings or training out of usual working hours, and at times, be willing to work across sites if needed.

 

Applicants should: 

•  Hold a minimum of a full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years and Childcare Qualification (or above), in line with the EYFS statutory requirements (please let us know if you don't meet all of these requirements, as there are positions available for apprenticeships or unqualified staff)

•  Have an excellent knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage, how to plan effectively for children and be ambitious in your practice

•  Have a sound knowledge of child development

•  Be committed to keeping children safeguarded and provide a safe environment

•  Know how to build excellent partnerships with parents and carers to meet the needs of each individual child

•  Have excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively with all staff, children, parents and carers and other professionals
